basic pizza crust;
This recipe isn’t really a stand-alone recipe, as you can use this crust for pretty much any type of pizza you like! My personal favorite is this proscuitto burrata arugula pizza I’ve shared before, a gourmet take if you’re feeling fancy, but I promise you it’s just as good slapping some pasta sauce and mozzarella on it!
My personal favorite topping is meatballs if I have leftovers, although I wouldn’t say no to those frozen pre-packaged ones either. The best part about making your own pizza is that you can control exactly what goes on it! While I love meatballs on my pizza, sometimes it’s hard when pizza places cut giant meatballs in half and slap them on the pizza. I really prefer them quartered and spread out a little more. But if you want to impress, the burrata, proscuitto, and arugula pizza (pictured below) is great!
Depending on your spice / herb preference, you of course can switch this recipe up! Not a fan of rosemary? Toss in some fresh and powdered garlic for a garlic and red pepper crust. Not a fan of the heat? Add some onion powder or thyme instead. Not a fan of either or the combination? Go for something mild by using chives, or use chopped capers in the crust for a white pizza. The possibilities are endless, but I do know that this here is a solid pizza crust base for you to start!
