With a bright burst of strawberry flavor, the tangy sweet from a granny smith apple, and just a hint of cinnamon, these strawberry apple hand pies are perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Delicious two-bite balls of cake and ice cream coated in frosting and a strawberry cake crumble on the outside! They’re messy to eat, but deliciously so! – – What do you get when you throw a whole cake on the floor in your house? Apparently the answer is Strawberry Crunch Cakeballs! At least it was a delicious mistake! Basically I was trying to re-make this strawberry crunch ice cream cake that I shared a few weeks ago because it was delicious! And I didn’t prepare nearly as well because I figured I had made it once before and I would remember. Well…

Light and flavorful lightly lemon flavored cheesecake with a strawberry swirl all on a sugar cookie crust. A perfect ratio if sometimes you find cheesecake too heavy or rich, you get a light cheesecake and a larger crust! – – This one was a hit at the office! Another birthday special, although I was a few days late because of my trip to St. Louis, Missouri! (Read part one of the culinary adventure: St. Louis here!) But luckily this recipe helped smooth things over. Not that anyone really cared, but I felt bad because I said I would make my co-worker something…

Happy Tyler-and-my-sister’s birthday! (Yes, they have the same birthday: November 5th!) I think these doughnuts are Tyler’s favorite thing of all time and it’s been three years since I’ve come into his life with full fattening potential. I like these doughnuts, but honestly if it was me personally, they’d be a touch too much work for something that doesn’t have chocolate. They’re only too much work because I always think that I can cut up strawberries while they’re baking for the first two minutes. DON’T DO THAT. I’ve tried. It takes way longer to dice up strawberries than you think.…

Onto the third recipe in my series of mini cheesecakes! I’ve really been on a dessert kick…with these four recipes, Monday as and before that cookie dough icing brownies and reverse strawberry shortcake. I hope I’m helping to fatten you up for the cold winter ahead! But first we gotta get through fall. I say “get through” as if fall isn’t my favorite season! Autumn leaves, crisp sweater weather, walks with the pup, and all those fall recipes…what’s not to love? Actually it’s good that I mentioned the reverse strawberry shortcake, because here’s the perfect suggestion! Leftover strawberry soup from the reverse strawberry…

From the lady that brought you strawberry shortcake vodka slush, here’s the pineapple cousin, pineapple vodka slush! It’s pretty much the exact same thing, but swap out the strawberries for pineapple. Or even combine the two! Make a strawberry-pineapple vodka slush! Be sure to stock up on your friend Cake Vodka, because that ish is delish! I suggest approx. 3 c. cubed pineapple, 3-4 shots of cake vodka, and 2 c. of ice. Add more ice if it needs to be thicker, add more vodka to thin it out (or for fun), or add more pineapple to make the texture smoother.…

So…I made this cocktail by accident! You can thank my lazy Sunday. The past few weeks have been a bit crazy, and even Saturday this weekend was crazy! Fun crazy, but crazy nonetheless. Friday we went to grab drinks before seeing Captain America! It was good, and T and I had a nice walk back chatting about our thoughts about the movie! And then Saturday, T went running (he’s training for a marathon) for 6 miles, and I actually got my butt to the gym. Then we had to take Kenichi on a long walk to tire him out a bit…
