Guten Morgen! Are you ready for castles and museums and delicious german/austrian food? Well you’re in the right place! I’m back from a week traveling Munich, Germany and Salzburg, Austria. It was a much needed break from the craze of work and I definitely gained a few pounds from the eating! What do you think of when you think of German food? Because before my trip the two things I could think of were pretzels and weinerschnitzel. I love soft pretzels and was definitely looking forward to that, and we got all sorts ranging from pizza pretzels to pretzel sandwiches…

This past weekend was packed full of fun! We finally made our way to the Baltimore Aquarium which has been on the bucket list for almost 3 years now. We originally had plans to grab dinner with friends, but they had something come up last minute, so we instead we called up our friends Karen and Tyler and did something else we’ve been chatting about forever–go to Heavy Seas Brewery for a tour! Mostly they walk you around, tell you about the hopps, the vats, the way they grind the grains, allow it to ferment, carbonate it and bottle it.…

An oreo crust with a soft and fluffy peanut butter filling topped with Crunch pieces and pretzels. – – You need this peanut butter pie in your arsenal. It’s delicious, and surprisingly it’s a snap to whip up! The most complicated part is the crust, which I only say because you have to crush up the cookies AND mix with melted butter AND press into your pan. Life so hard, am I right? But the filling is pretty simple as can be, and you can top it with whatever you’d like! I went for a nice textural “crunch” with miniature crunch bits, and…

Cooooookies in bar form! My desire to make this recipe really came from the fact that peanut butter cups were on sale, and I loooove me some fresh PB cups. Have you ever had the really old PB cups that are like dried out and crumbly? It’s not the same. Have you ever had fresh off the Hershey’s press PB cups? I actually have, and they’re AMAZING. The peanut butter is creamier and as sugary as ever, and did I mention–it’s amazing? I did a summer program called Institute of Leadership, Technology, and Management (ILTM) my junior year of college, and got…

Here’s a perfect family-pleaser recipe! I call it that because it’s a familiar and tasty option, spiced up with a little gourmet twist, but not with ridiculous ingredients. Chicken tenders, done the normal way, except instead of breadcrumbs, crushed pretzels for extra crunch, and throw in some honey mustard in the eggwash. That’s really all there is! I like this recipe because you get a little extra crunch for a touch of extra work. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but I hate “crushing” things. Everyone makes it sound so easy–just crush the pretzels, like it’s that…
