Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays) to all! And to all a chocolatey night! Those are the best kinds of nights aren’t they? Here’s the wrap-up for this year to keep track of this year’s round of yummies! 2017 Features: [New!] maple bacon milk chocolate truffles Free dipped truffles with a creamy maple bacon center and sprinkled with bacon and salt The centers would be for molds, but I kinda like the salty bacony topping on the free-dipped truffles [New!] cinna-bun white chocolate truffles A slightly crunchy cinnamon cookie and cream cheese center makes for a wonderful bite of a cinnamon…

Maple bacon is one of those trendy flavors right now and I have to say I don’t hate it. I’ve never been a huge maple person, especially next to say, my sister who could eat maple candies until the trees came home–that is to say, forever. Though she is particular about authenticity. It’s pretty simple, and was a hit at our New Year’s Eve party! They went on Brunch Burger Bombs, recipe…

To be fair, it was because my mother hates them and obviously never made them for us growing up because she didn’t want to eat them. So to my young self, since everyone said brussel sprouts were icky, they were obviously icky! Child logic at work for you. I actually discovered that I liked brussel sprouts at a cooking class. I use the term “like” loosely here. I like them for a vegetable — they’re still…
