Here I am in the great Midwest, writing from St. Louis, MO! This is a much needed trip, just to get away from the crazies in my life right now. Wedding planning, house hunting, house buying, and still trying to go to work and live a normal life besides. So it’s nice to get away for a few days. We’ve only been here one full day so far, but we’ve packed it in! We started off the day wandering around Forest Park, while my parents were attending to some logistical stuff, and my sister and I found some pretty…

This past weekend was packed full of fun! We finally made our way to the Baltimore Aquarium which has been on the bucket list for almost 3 years now. We originally had plans to grab dinner with friends, but they had something come up last minute, so we instead we called up our friends Karen and Tyler and did something else we’ve been chatting about forever–go to Heavy Seas Brewery for a tour! We went as part of our awesome labor day weekend, the same one that brought you posts on Reese’s peanut butter bars, and MD Renaissance Festival. It was a crazy weekend packed full of everything: breweries, a wine tasting, the jazz festival, an escape room, dinner at a hot pot restaurant, the renaissance fair, and a ton of board games! The reason we even went out to Lake Anne was because I had heard of a chocolate and wine…

It makes sense in the grand scheme of things since I only started less than a year ago, but it’s funny to me that some of T’s and my’s favorite places don’t have dedicated posts. On the one hand they’re fun and local, but on the other we go there often enough that I feel like I shouldn’t take pictures every single time. So today, you get a post about a local hangout of ours–Mad Fox Brewery! It’s…
