I have finally, finally gotten around to part two of the Kiwimoon, our honeymoon adventures in the South Island! So much fun from wineries, horseback riding, beautiful scenery, and a night out with amazing cocktails! – – Day 10: Tiny house and The Winery. While in Queenstown for this stint, we stayed in a tiny house! While I definitely could not live in a tiny house long term, I love short getaways in tiny houses that seem so cozy and still have all the essentials. This one had a gorgeous view of the bay, a cozy loft bed, and a pretty…

Hey guys, we’re back from New Zealand and I just want to share with you every minute of our honeymoon adventure! I want to make sure I jot this down while the memories are still fresh because it was such an amazing trip. We were there for two and a half weeks, so I’m breaking this into two parts, the north island and the south island! Here’s the north island scoop: Day 1: Travel. After the wedding we were exhausted, but at least we played that “honeymoon” card, and got bumped up to Economy plus on the first leg of our…

Guten Morgen! Are you ready for castles and museums and delicious german/austrian food? Well you’re in the right place! I’m back from a week traveling Munich, Germany and Salzburg, Austria. I’ve been meaning to make it up to Boston for some time to visit a few friends in the area, and it finally happened! It was a jam-packed weekend, but jam-packed with fun so it flew by. We were staying with my high school friend Peggy up by the Tufts campus, and got to explore the area, grab some lunch and ice cream, and also just hang out and catch up, which was really nice. Of course in typical Katie-Tyler(-Peggy) fashion we ended the night with margaritas! It was a sequence of early morning days which was a little draining, but…

My last St. Louis post was just from the first day! So I needed a part 2 to record the rest of our fun travels! Of course, we had to go see the Gateway Arch, which was pretty impressive, I’ve got to say. We saw the free movie about the engineering that went into this structure, and it makes you really appreciate engineering! 630ft tall, and made entirely of curved steel. More than that, they had to build the arch piecemeal, and it had to stand alone without being completed until they could add in the keystone piece. Pretty amazing when you…
