A healthy version of banana bread–no butter or oils here! Still delicious and everything you want in a banana bread, but using healthy coconut milk for that moist delicious flavor instead of the bad-for-you alternatives. – – I think the above summary pretty much sums it up. Do you love banana bread? Are you looking for a healthy alternative? Then this coconut milk banana bread is the answer to your prayers! No butter, no oil, instead we use all-natural, full fat coconut milk. Sure it’s still got fat in it, but it’s the natural and healthy kind which makes this…

Luscious pumpkin spice muffins, with extra luxury and festivity added from seasonal pumpkin spice choco-chips! – – Are the pumpkin spice police going to come after me for posting this recipe not in the fall? I’m not sure, but I’m braving the waters to share this recipe with you! Part of the reason is that a co-worker requested these for her birthday, and the other reason is I recently found a clearance sale on the pumpkin spice choco-chips! So it’s a good time to look out for clearance sales, or keep an eye out next fall for them choco-chips! These muffins…

Think cinnamon buns, but instead of a cinnamon filling, you have all the sugary cake batter flavor you’ve ever wanted! Topped with sprinkles, of course. – – These are an easy little snack to whip up, and my goodness, they’re just de-lish! They’re bite-sized, so watch out, because it’s so easy to say “Oh I’ll just have one or two” and find the whole pan–or two–gone in a flash! Do I regret? Nope. I always keep some funfetti cake batter on hand just for “cake-batter” flavored things. I make them often enough (like cake batter pancakes or cake batter chocolate chip cookies) that…

Here’s another one of our go-to game day snacks! I don’t know about you all, but if I can stuff jalapeno popper filling into pretty much anything, I find a way to make it happen! Like this jalapeno popper stuffed bread or jalapeno cheddar stuffed burgers. Because everything is better stuffed with cheese and a hint of spicy. It’s funny to me, because about a year ago, I wouldn’t touch the stuff. I was not a fan of spice on any level, probably because I was just a big big wuss. I’m still a wuss on most people’s scales I’ll bet, but I’m…

Another take on these Stuffed rolls, swiss and ham is always a yummy combination for me. I even went one gourmet-step forward and grabbed Trader Joe’s rosemary ham. If you don’t have access to rosemary ham, you can always sprinkle some rosemary into the diced cheese and ham, but make sure you crumble the dried stuff up with your fingers a bit to release the aromatics! You can also just chop through it with you knife quickly before adding it. I chose ham and swiss because I had some leftover ham in the fridge. These are perfect to use up…

Here’s another great simple party dip, peeeeerfect for a brunch potluck! Good thing we had one for New Year’s Eve! Really super simple, and quite tasty! The amped up touch to this dip, in my opinion, was the fresh bagel chips I made. Now of course you can do regular chips or store-bought bagel chips, but then I’ve seen less options of varieties of bagel chips at the store than you can get at your local bagel shop! Plus we have an amazing bagel shop less than 10 minutes away. Because the dip is cream cheese based (as one would…

When the holidays roll around, and all those yummy dishes are on the table, sometimes you just need a break! Don’t get me wrong, I looooove traditional holiday foods: mashed potatoes, ham, sweet potatoe casserole, all those yummy Christmas cookies! But sometimes you want to just put it on pause, and take a breather. And I think these meringues are just thing! They’re super light, but the light mint flavor still feels festive. Plus there’s chocolate chips, so it wins all around in my book. Plus, this is a perfect recipe to make when you are busy using all that…

Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays) to all! And to all a good–and chocolately night! Let’s end my truffle mini-series with a wrap-up, so you (and I) can find all these delicious yummies next year~! I’ve included the recipe card for molded candy shop truffles at the bottom for easy access, and am including links to all the truffles I’ve shared this year! Plus affiliate links to the candies and molds I use in case you’re interested in those! matcha white chocolate truffles shape: flowers (affiliate link), topped with green white chocolate filling: green tea ganache, recipe found at the link above orange truffles…

I pretty much only make “candies” for holidays. Typically they take a lot of work, and specialized equipment. I’ve slowly been building up my arsenal, and I actually just broke out these silicone molds for the first time! I got them from the annual secret santa last year with my high school friends. I forgot I had them until I was going through the pantry, and so obviously I had to find some yummies to try out! Plus I had Trader Joe’s dulche de leche (affiliate link) from the dulche de leche cheesecake I shared with you, and I wanted to use it another way.…

Have you ever had candied orange peels? They’re chewy and oh so orange-y, and perfect little strips to snack on when you want to be bad. I feel that they’re an indulgence best nibbled on. I’m never going to shove a handful of candied orange peels in my mouth the way I do chocolate! But chocolate is the reason I’m sharing this recipe with you. I’m making a variety of truffles this year, and one of the flavors is orange! So I thought this would be perfect as a garnish, and also a festive snack for the holiday time. You can…

Let’s kick off chocolate truffle season! I have big plans for this season, because I have some tried and true truffles and I want to try out some new recipes! Plus I have various molds, so I’m actually looking to make assortments for Christmas gifts. My current plan is for a sampler that includes: matcha green tea white chocolate, dulche de leche cups, orange dark chocolate, and raspberry dark chocolate. Other contenders include: peanut butter, eggnog, red wine, cake batter, and mocha truffles. I want a good variety, but I also want to make things I’ll eat, so we’ll see what I end up with.…

Happy Tyler-and-my-sister’s birthday! (Yes, they have the same birthday: November 5th!) I think these doughnuts are Tyler’s favorite thing of all time and it’s been three years since I’ve come into his life with full fattening potential. I like these doughnuts, but honestly if it was me personally, they’d be a touch too much work for something that doesn’t have chocolate. They’re only too much work because I always think that I can cut up strawberries while they’re baking for the first two minutes. DON’T DO THAT. I’ve tried. It takes way longer to dice up strawberries than you think.…
