Other than the Apple French Toast, and the Egg Casserole that my friends brought to our New Year’s Eve party, I think these brunch burger bombs were the star of the show! Has anyone else seen these strange savory “jams” that are a thing now? I won’t lie, I still think they’re a little strange. Delicious yes, strange, also yes. But I’m a fan! Especially of anything bacon. And since maple bacon is also a wondrous thing, I thought this was a great combination! I basically just adapted my tomato onion jam (recipe made for the juicy lucy burger) to use bacon instead of tomatoes, and use maple syrup in addition to some water.
