Has anyone else seen these strange savory “jams” that are a thing now? I won’t lie, I still think they’re a little strange. Delicious yes, strange, also yes. But I’m a fan! Especially of anything bacon. And since maple bacon is also a wondrous thing, I thought this was a great combination! I basically just adapted my tomato onion jam (recipe made for the juicy lucy burger) to use bacon instead of tomatoes, and use maple syrup in addition to some water. I hope that a lot of things on my blog look tasty. But if you’re feeling ambitious, THIS IS THE RECIPE FOR YOU. Note that with all the different components, it’s not really what I would consider an “easy” recipe.
