It was a bit of a late dinner today. Crazy day for me. T was headed off all the way through DC to the other end of the Orange line today, so he had to get up early and was out the door before I even got up. He told me early, so it should have been no big deal, I just had to take a few extra minutes to walk Kenichi. Lo and behold, of course, that when I came back in from our normal morning walk, Kenichi decided to run for freedom. I chased him probably a quarter…

I made this for a quick dinner today, and it was tasty and looked just like the pictures over at damndelicious! I made them for dinner with some fried rice to whip in some veggies, but these would also be perfect as an appetizer! Or add more oil to the pan to fry them up, but I prefer to pretend I’m a healthy person. I wouldn’t call this a one-pan…

So pad see ew is my favorite Thai dish. The sweet soy sauce and the fat rice noodles … so wonderful together! Rice noodles are my favorite! I love chow fun and all those dim sum dishes with noodles — yum yum! The hardest part of Asian dishes is navigating the Asian grocery store to find what you actually want. You might know you need to get “black soy sauce” but there are so many to choose from! I’m happy to say that for this recipe, there’s not too much to do. For me, the two hardest ingredients to find…
