loaded baked potato rounds;
I have a little story for you all. A young girl graduated college and moved in with one of her friends. Moved to a new state, and in the evenings when they didn’t feel like cooking some nights….they would eat baked potato rounds! Really it’s just a means to get cheese and bacon to our mouths.
We were having a snowed-in game night last night with some friends that live within walking distance of our place (to trudge through the snow), and I whipped out this ol’ recipe to relive the past. And it’s always amazing. Though because of the snow, I didn’t actually have chives. I thought about running to the grocery to grab them, but honestly didn’t feel the need to stand in line for 2 hours for one ingredient. And they still turned out wonderfully! But I do love chives.
Plus it made the house smell like bacon. Heh. The best kind of smells. We ended up playing Contaigon for the first time, Harry Potter Clue, and Catch Phrase! We ended the night with some Smash of course, but we demolished the Vegetable Dip, Coffee Cake, and some homemade caramels!
