crescent breakfast ring;
This breakfast crescent ring is yumm-ee! It does take a little bit of effort rather early in the morning I’ll admit, with all the different pieces that go together. But it was tasty, that’s for sure! Actually it was tastier than I even expected, but I’m glad it was since it took a little more effort than expected at first glance.
The one thing to do next time to make it look even better would be to make the ring a little smaller so that there isn’t quite as large of a hole in the middle. I think that would make it easier to transfer off of the pan in addition to making it look a little prettier.
I used onions, bacon, and cheese in addition to the eggs in this. I would have also added some peppers if I had them around, (they were included in the original recipe by Julie over at Julie Eats) but I didn’t feel like running to the store. It still came out super tasty! You can always add your favorite omelet toppings, anything from sausage, different kinds of cheeses, veggies, even hot sauce or ketchup.
This definitely comes out looking impressive though, like B&B style! If you don’t mind the hassle of making the bacon, sauteing the onions, and cooking the eggs prior to baking, this recipe is a winner! Actually if you fried up the bacon the night before to make bacon bits, I think that would help with juggling all the pieces so early in the morning. Enjoy!
