apple cider sangria;
Delicious caramel apple cider sangria, festive for fall, but delicious all year round!

Who doesn’t love apples? Who doesn’t love wine? Who doesn’t love putting the two together? If the answer is you, I’m not entirely sure why you’re reading this, but who am I to judge?
First things first, chop some apples! I really liked having the mix of red and green apples for some extra color, so for this recipe I used red delicious and granny smith. If I had to pick one though, I’d go with the granny smith. I like the little bit sour considering the rest of the drink is so powerfully sweet!
Basically you toss together 6 c. apple cider, 1 750ml bottle white wine, and 1 c. caramel liquor. Feel free to throw in a cinnamon stick or two for some extra cinnamon kick if you want!
If you’re not overly fond of a ton of sweet in your drinks, you can easily skip the caramel liquor and instead add some vodka or rum for that extra punch without the sweetness. Honestly I think next time I’d spring for that change. But it really is delicious, and a perfect cocktail when you don’t want to spend the time to make apple pie moonshine; although that too is delicious!
