Delicious chewy chocolatey cookie bars made from simple ingredients including one boxed cake mix, chocolate chips, AND mini m&ms!

Do you all remember that cake box cookie bars; recipe I shared a few weeks back? Well, I had the brilliant idea to use brownie mix this time around! And it works just as great with some chocolate pudding mix, and all the rest of the same ingredients. It’s still easy, it’s still delicious, and it’s even more chocolatey!
In fact I bet this recipe could be adapted to pretty much any flavor of boxed cake mix. Red velvet with white chocolate chips would be delicious and perfect for valentine’s! You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Again I went with the mini chocolate chips and the mini m&ms although I bet peanut butter chips would be to die for in this chocolatey batter.
And don’t forget to sprinkle extra mini m&ms on top! I really love the extra pop of color so everyone knows the bars are filled with extra goodies, especially since it’s hard to see among all the chocolate!
