5 summer strawberry recipes;

Sweet summer strawberries can’t be beat! Every summer I need lots of great strawberry recipes to help use up the pounds we bring home! We started an annual tradition about three years back to go strawberry picking every year. It’s so much fun to bend over the strawberry bushes looking for ripe, red strawberries.

I have to start off my strawberry recipe list with some chocolatey goodness, don’t I? And chocolate and strawberries are a classic combo. But here’s a new twist for you: fresh strawberry compote surrounded by a hearty chocolatey crust. The chocolate crust is a perfect contrast to sweet, ripe, fresh strawberries. It’s not too sweet, which really lets the strawberries be the star of the dish.

Transform your fresh strawberries into ice cream! Perfect for hot summer days. Perfectly refreshing, roasting the strawberries brings out so much beautiful strawberry flavor. You don’t need an ice cream machine for this recipe, so there’s no excuse not to make it!

This recipe only requires five ingredients, but does take a little bit of patience since you need to wait for your ice cream to freeze. Still, it’s definitely a worthwhile addition to your summer strawberry recipes!

Strawberry apple hand pies are very often a go-to recipe for me when I’m getting toward the end of my hand-picked strawberries. You know what I mean, when you’re starting to get a little tired of strawberries, and just want a quick and easy new way to freshen up the ingredient.

This is probably the simplest recipe on this strawberry recipes list. All you need is to cook down some strawberries and apples and then fold them into premade puff pastry dough for a quick and easy snack. Pro tip: save them and heat them in a toaster oven for breakfast! You won’t be sorry.

This strawberry honey butter over at bellyful.net is absolutely scrumptious. Super easy with only four ingredients, and yet it has a whole bunch of flavor. Strawberry honey butter is sweet, with the perfect amount of salt to keep you coming back for more. Strawberry honey butter is the perfect condiment to add a little sweetness to your morning for breakfast, or for dessert later in the day.

I like smearing it on bagels, and even when I don’t have the gumption to go out and get my own bagels, I make quarantine bagels right at home! They’re so named because I made them so much during the height of COVID-19. This is a no-yeast recipe that uses pantry staples because if you remember, everyone took up breadmaking at home and yeast was hard to find!

5. strawberry cheesecake cookies;

These strawberry cheesecake cookies are super soft, super buttery, and studded with white chocolate chips and fresh strawberries. Fresh strawberries really bring a bright freshness to these cookies, and the cream cheese gives them richness. My husband always gobbles these up…I’m lucky to get one, much less a few! But that’s a testament to just how delicious these cookies are!
