Chocolate covered caramel pretzel snaps, using marshmallows to make a bunny tail and feet.

Ingredients

  • 24 mini pretzels
  • 24 caramels unwrapped
  • 48 mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups coating white chocolate
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • red food coloring
  • sea or flaked salt as desired

Instructions

  • Arrange pretzels on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Unwrap caramels and top each pretzel with a caramel. If pliable, can form into a disc before topping to control the surface more.
  • Bake 3-5 minutes or until just melted.
  • Remove from oven. If desired, sprinkle a bit of sea or flaked salt while pretzels are still warm from the oven. Allow to cool completely.
  • Cut 24 marshmallows in half and pinch each cut end to form feet. Flatten remaining marshmallows for the tails. Reserve 1-2 white chocolate discs.
  • Melt the white chocolate according to directions, and add vanilla. Dip each pretzel into the chocolate, and set on wax paper to set.
  • While pretzels are still wet, press two feet and a tail into each one.
  • Melt the reserved chocolate disks and color with red food coloring. Use pink to paint little pads on the feet of each bunny and allow to set.
