Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup yellow/funfetti cake mix
- 1½ cup flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3-4 Tbsp milk
- 1⅓ cup chocolate melts
- 2 Tbsp sprinkles
Optional
- 4 Tbsp yellow/funfetti cake mix
Instructions
- Beat together butter and sugar. Then add cake mix, flour, salt, and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Stir in 3 Tbsp of milk. Add an additional tablespoon of milk if necessary to make a dough consistency.
- Roll dough into balls and place in the refrigerator to chill.
- While dough is chilling, microwave the chocolate melts in 30 second increments until melted.
- Once melted, you can add 4 Tbsp cake mix if desired. Dip truffles in chocolate and place on parchment paper. Top with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
if you want a different look and taste, roll entire truffle in sprinkles instead of coating with chocolate.
