Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven.
Drain any liquid from the chicken wings and blot them dry.
Add to a bowl and coat with 1 Tbsp melted butter, salt and pepper, and garlic powder.
Lay wings out on the baking sheet, making sure not to crowd them (else they will steam). Bake 22 minutes
In the meantime, melt remaining 1 Tbsp of butter and mix with garlic.
Remove the wings from the oven, brush with garlic butter and return to the oven for 8 minutes.
Remove from the oven and while still warm, coat with garlic periperi sauce to serve.
